Dune Bianche 'Musa' Bianco Basilicata
80% Malvasia bianca di Basilicata and 20% Moscato from 40 year old bush vines planted in clay soils in an arid area where it scarcely rains. The fruit was all harvested by hand in the first ten days of September. The whole-cluster grapes were foot-trodden, spontaneously fermented and macerated for 20 days on the skins in open bins (tini aperti) with three punchdowns a day before being manually pressed and aged in old barrique.The wine is bottled by gravity without stabilization, filtration or any added SO2.(1037 bottles produced)
Dune Bianche 'Lunatico' Rosso Basilicata
100% Sangiovese from 40 year old bush vines and some planted in cordon spur in clay soil. The fruit was all harvested by hand in the first ten days of September. The whole-cluster grapes were foot-trodden, spontaneously fermented and macerated for 15 days on the skins in open bins (tini aperti) with three punchdowns a day before being manually pressed and aged in old barrique.The wine is bottled by gravity without stabilization, filtration or any added SO2. Due Dune 'Ficus' Rosato Umbria
100% Merlot from 20 year old vines in Cannara, Umbria The fruit was all harvested by hand in the last week of August. that was direct-pressed with whole-clusters and passed over the spent skins of Malvasia Bianca di Basilicata and Moscato from Dune Bianche 'Musa' and 'Insanis' before fermentation in stainless steel with spontaneous yeasts without temperature control. It was aged in stainless steel with periodic lees stirring and racking.The wine is bottled by gravity without stabilization, filtration or any added SO2 (1030 bottles produced)
Due Dune 'Avius' Rosso Umbria
100% Merlot from 20 year old vines in Cannara, Umbria. The fruit was all harvested by hand in the last week of August. The whole-cluster grapes were foot-trodden, spontaneously fermented and macerated for 15 days on the skins in stainless steel without temperature control and with manual punching down three times a day. After the maceration the grapes were manually basket pressed and aged in stainless steel The wine is bottled by gravity without stabilization, filtration or any added SO2. (1020 bottles produced)
