100% Ormeasco (va. Dolcetto). Natural farming and fermentation. Basket pressed after primary fermentation (cement) and aged in large 25hL barrel. Bottled ~12 months of aging. Can age for 10-20 years if you have the patience!
Ormeasco di Pornassio, DOC "Sciac-tra`"
100% Omeasco (va. Dolcetto). Natural farming and fermentation. Harvested ~10 days earlier then grapes for the red wine. "Sciac-tra`" literal translates to "press and pull", referring to the direct press method they use to make this rosato. Ages in stainless steel/resin/cement and bottled the Spring after harvest but often released ~ 1 full year after vinification.
